Types of Hair Loss & Thinning

Male Pattern Baldness
Genetically driven and fuelled by DHT, this typically shows up as a receding hairline or a thinning crown as follicles gradually shrink over time.
Female Pattern Hair Loss
Rather than full baldness, this usually shows up as an overall thinning across the scalp and a widening parting, often triggered by hormonal shifts, stress, or age.
Telogen Effluvium
A sudden, heavier shedding phase triggered by a physical or emotional shock — illness, extreme stress, nutritional gaps, or the hormonal shift after pregnancy.
Weak, Miniaturised Strands
Follicles that are technically active but starved of good circulation and nutrients, producing hair that's fine, brittle, and prone to snapping.
Scalp Sensitivity & Inflammation
Chronic dandruff, excess oil, dryness, or dermatitis that quietly undermines follicle health and speeds up shedding.
